Rootrainers encourage vigorous & strong root formation; roots grow straight, avoiding root balls and pot bound plants. Opening the Rootrainer up in a book-like fashion allows for easy inspection of moisture levels and root progress, as well as satisfyingly easy removal of the young plants.

Easy to assemble but difficult, very tight fit, fitting the last root trainer into the frame. Root trainer plastic is quite thin, so it remains to be seen how long it will last. Have only just sown seeds, so some time before I will see results to be able to comment further.
I haven't used the new ones but wanted more to add to the ones I had second hand from family. They work really well.
Excellent service and product.
Don’t believe the HYPE….? See for yourself …Stunning germination rates
I bought both the Paid and the longer ones. Having mixed my usual seed compost I filled and sowed, top dressed and set on a sunny windowsill. 99% germination with sweet peas and about 90% with chillies. Both doing well. Like the set up and the reusability. Look forward to years of positive results.
Replacement of old friends
