I used these for tomatoes in summer (grown in pots) the main problem was watering them,—it involved lifting the edges and trying to avoid them falling over. I got over this by making a hole in the centre of the top round surface which allowed the water collected to be drained into the pot from the dislike surface. The cloches are also used for the protection of newly planted small trees from frost and wind, I use three Verve 150 cm. metal stakes (with balls on the end ) inside. There is a need for far more earth pegs than those normally supplied. The double ones recently supplied are a more effective type of peg for holding it down. On earth —grass sods can be used.
Thanks for the feedback. I will pass it to the product designer for him to consider.
