What is the Grower Frame?

The Grower Frame is a tall growing space for tender plants and is ideal for those without a greenhouse.  It consists of a frame of black powder-coated, steel rods which slot together to make a sturdy, rust-resistant frame giving 3m x1m of space.  A choice of two covers are available; one for weather protection and the other for pest protection.

The Grower Weather Protection cover is made from heavy-duty, clear polythene for robust, weather and pest protection. This cover produces an enhanced growing environment which promotes quicker growth by retaining warmth and humidity.

The Grower Pest Protection Cover is made from Haxnicks award-winning Micromesh™. It provides protection from insects, including aphids, carrot fly, cabbage root fly and other airborne pests. The ultra-fine Micromesh allows air and water to easily pass through, whilst protecting plants from scorching and other weather damage.

Both covers fit snugly over the Grower Frame and have four large side zips for easy access. Ventilation is controlled using the insect-proof ventilation flaps at either end.
