Fruit Cages
Haxnicks Fruit cages can be used to protect fruit and vegetables from birds and animals. They are ideal for young raspberries and blackcurrants; blueberries, gooseberries, redcurrants and cranberries.
Chioose between tubular steel or natural bamboo cages, both are easy to construct using the simple assembly instructions: The decoratice frameworks can be quickly constructed using flexible, 'push-fit' plastic joints to join the pre-cut bamboo or steel lengths.
The mesh covers, made from 15 mm² bird netting, can be placed over the structure and then secured to the ground with U-shaped, galvanised steel pegs. All elements are conveniently supplied flat-packed in a box for easy transport and storage.
