Maxi (Fleet) Rootrainer is the largest Rootrainer in the range.

This size of tray is perfect for plants requiring extra depth. Many successful competition growers use the Fleet for their prize winning vegetables. Also autumn grown sweet peas can be successfully transplanted from the Sherwood into the Fleet.

The tray is also excellent for growing deep rooted trees and shrubs as well as exotic plants such as palms, eucalyptus and bamboo. They encourage the growth of a strong root system, giving your plants the best start.

Each pack contains: 1 holding tray and10 books. There is no clear propagating lid with this size

The only propagation system gardeners ask for by name, Rootrainers encourage vigorous & strong root formation; roots grow Rootrainer openstraight, avoiding root balls and pot bound plants. Opening the Rootrainer up in a book-like fashion allows for easy inspection of moisture levels and root progress, as well as easy removal of the young plants. Rootrainers are available for Trade in Compact Rapid, Rapid, and Deep versions. The Slim and Maxi versions are only available to Growers.
